A.C. Wharton For Mayor 2009!
We welcome all to Memphis, Tennessee for what is set to be an historic election and crucial turning point in the maturation of our great city. On Thursday, September 17th, 2009, Young and Ambitious professionals will come together and make a final push to ensure that our candidate and current Shelby County Mayor, Mr. A.C.Wharton takes control of what has been a roller coaster ride in mid-south politics over the last four years, and brings stability and TRUE leadership to the office. Next Thursday, September 17th at Cafe Soul, some of the most influential, savvy, and forward thinking young people will come together to not only support A.C.Wharton in his bid to become Mayor of the 15th largest city in the nation, but also to network with like minded individuals who are interested propelling this city to the next level.
This event could not be done with just one person involved, so a host committee of Young and Ambitious individuals was developed to help energize our demographic and co-partner in executing Young Professional events in the forseeable future. Although October 10th(Election Day) will serve to be a special day as we hope to be celebrating Mayor Wharton’s victory, that is only the beginning as another election looms in 2011. These Young and Ambitious people have decided to dedicate themselves to this process, and I hope you will join us celebrating a new day in Memphis politics next Thursdy the 17th at Cafe Soul.
